About

Dave McGowan writes novels and short stories, many of which could be classified as "Western". The stories are usually located in the Canadian west and the mid to late 19th century. His first novel was published by Daison Services in 1996 and is titled "The Great Liquor War" which is a fictional account of the disagreement between the British Columbia Provincial Police and the North West Mounted Police (they were not yet "Royal" in 1884). It is, however, no longer available. A new release is in the works which could have it available in early 2012.
"Partners" and "Homesteader" are available on Amazon, at Barnes and Nobel or from the publisher at www.strategicbookpublishing.com/ (the title in question)
