East–West University is a private, non-profit, non-denominational college in Chicago's South Loop neighborhood. The University was founded in 1980. East-West offers two and four year degrees and certificates. The university has been accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1983.
The university primarily serves Chicago's African American population. East-West is committed to providing affordable, quality higher education to students from all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
