Daria Ilgen is a Democratic candidate for Washington State Representative in the 23rd Legislative District, serving communities across North and Central Kitsap County and Bainbridge Island.

Daria brings more than 20 years of experience building partnerships, negotiating complex deals, and helping organizations grow, including work with Amazon, AWS, Zillow, Expedia, and emerging technology companies. His career has taken him around the world, including living and working in Singapore, China, and the United Arab Emirates, giving him a broad perspective on innovation, competition, and what strong communities need to thrive.

But Daria’s story is also deeply personal. He is the son of an immigrant, a husband, father, small family farmer, and active community volunteer who believes leadership should be grounded in service and real-world experience. Whether working with local schools, nonprofits, business leaders, or families across Kitsap, he is known for listening first, asking tough questions, and staying focused on practical solutions.

Daria is running for office because he believes people deserve a government that works as hard as they do and leaders who put the public interest first. His campaign is centered on making everyday life more livable, strengthening schools and public safety, improving transportation and ferry reliability, supporting local businesses, expanding housing opportunities, and bringing greater accountability to how taxpayer dollars are spent.

His approach is straightforward: bring people together, cut through unnecessary bureaucracy, measure results, and keep the focus on what actually improves people’s lives.
