Eleven Energy is a Cambridge-based clean tech company leading the charge in energy storage with the UK’s first fully integrated sodium-ion battery system. Our Technology

At the heart of our offering is a modular, high-performance sodium-ion battery pack designed specifically for home use. Engineered to perform in harsh temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C, our batteries offer robust thermal stability.

Our sodium-ion batteries contain no lithium and cobalt — using instead abundant materials like sodium, iron, and manganese. This not only makes our solution more sustainable and ethical, but also immune to lithium supply chain disruptions and mining controversies.

Eleven Energy launched its system in early 2025 and has since completed installations across the UK. Our technology is trusted by leading solar installers. We have built a national installer network and are backed by Midsummer Energy, one of the UK’s largest renewable energy distributors.
