Energion Publications was founded in 2004 when Neufeld Computer Services acquired a small selection of publications on Christian education. Its purpose is to carry out this mission statement:
Our mission is to use web and print publishing to educate Christian laity and clergy, to energize the whole church to commitment and action, and to empower all members of the body of Christ to be effective witnesses for Jesus.
It now carries more than 20 books in its catalog and continues to seek quality Christian writers who will present strong convictions presented in such a way as to invite dialog and learning.
Energion Publications embraces new technology and new ways of publishing its content, including audio books, ebooks, subscription content online, and free content in many cases. Its primary means of publicity is via the internet as well.
