exaSound designs and manufactures high fidelity DACs. Founded in 2010, Toronto–based exaSound Audio Design develops and hand manufactures all of their products in-house.

exaSound introduced the first DSD256 DAC to the consumer market, the e20, and the first 8 channel DSD256 DAC, the e28. exaSound developed their proprietary ZeroJitter™ asynchronous USB protocol along with custom intelligent MP3Safe™ ASIO drivers and FPGA firmware, to achieve easily upgradable, future-proof playback.
