Fishidy. It sounds funny, but it’s been years in the making. With its 2011 launch, Fishidy.com is the first-ever, geo-social network created specifically for anglers to find fish, connect with their friends and keep detailed records of their on-water experiences. It all started with a group of guys who shared a passion for fishing, technology and maps. Eliminating unproductive time on the water was a common topic of conversation each time they got together and eventually, the idea of “Fishidy” took form.
Eventually, Fishidy.com was more than a great idea as relationships developed to form Outdoor InSite, the powering force behind Fishidy. Soon two, critical partners in the venture came to the table, Fishing Hot Spots®, of Rhinelander, WI and GeoDecisions®, of Camp Hill, PA -- bringing the information, proven data and waterway maps and innovative technology solutions to make the geo-social network a reality.
