The platform's core feature is automated trend detection for players and teams. Team trends work on the same principle. The system identifies teams with consistent patterns in markets like both teams to score, over goals lines, corners, and cards, and displays the current streak alongside opponent data and next fixture details.
Additional tools include a player props finder, which allows users to set custom conditions across multiple statistical categories and filter by league, position, and threshold to generate a shortlist of qualifying players. The fixture scout tool filters upcoming matches by team conditions such as first half goal rates, clean sheet frequency, or corner averages, and can be combined with league and date filters to find fixtures meeting specific criteria.
FootyMetrics also provides referee analytics, showing cards, foul rates, and penalty frequencies by referee across covered competitions. Individual player pages show full season match logs across all tracked statistics. Team pages show form tables, home and away splits, and historical match data.
