With Nearly 1,400 members, the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) is the largest association for public relations professionals in the State of Florida.  The Southwest Florida Chapter was chartered in 1984, and is one of fifteen active FPRA chapters. The Southwest Florida chapter serves public relations professionals in Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry and Glades counties.

The Southwest Florida Chapter has provided twenty-five years of professional development and community service with such programs as: Media Breakfast; Public Relations University (PRU); PR Pro Bono Day benefitting Southwest Florida nonprofit organizations; The Social Media Café – a series of workshops providing education to Southwest Florida business professionals on the latest developments in the communications industry; and other professional development opportunities.
