About

The Florida Statewide Organization of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was established in 1974 to unify and support the efforts of Omega chapters throughout the State of Florida. As part of the Seventh District of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.—which also includes Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi—FSO represents more than 50 graduate and undergraduate chapters and hundreds of members committed to upholding the fraternity’s mission and values.

Since its founding, FSO has served as the coordinating body for Florida chapters, providing leadership, structure, and strategic direction. Guided by Omega Psi Phi’s four cardinal principles—Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift—FSO works to ensure that each chapter operates in alignment with the highest standards of excellence and service.

The Florida Statewide Organization facilitates statewide meetings, leadership development conferences, and workshops that strengthen fraternal bonds and enhance chapter effectiveness. These gatherings offer members the opportunity to share best practices, recognize achievement, and prepare the next generation of leaders.

Beyond organizational oversight, FSO serves as a vital link between local chapters, the Seventh District, and the international body of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Its work ensures that the voice of Florida’s membership is heard, and that statewide initiatives reflect the fraternity’s mission of uplifting humanity.

For over five decades, the Florida Statewide Organization has stood as a pillar of leadership and unity within Omega Psi Phi. Its members—educators, entrepreneurs, clergy, public servants, and professionals—carry forward a proud legacy of excellence, service, and brotherhood across the State of Florida.
