Headquartered in Austin, Texas, GingerControl is backed by London-based Backed VC. The company was founded by Chen Cui and his cofounder Sean, friends since middle school in West Auckland, New Zealand. GingerControl emerged from approximately 200 conversations with importers, customs brokers, compliance managers, trade attorneys, former CBP officers, freight forwarders, and procurement leaders.
