The Holiday Inn is centrally located in Gainesville at the corner of 13th & University, an ideal location for out of town visitors to experience the best of Gainesville.  We are positioned directly across from The University of Florida’s main entrance. Additionally, we are within walking distance to several of the city’s most popular restaurants and nightlife entertainment.  

The Holiday Inn University Center has undergone recent renovations and now features a new lobby, complete with a high-tech business center, beverage bar, and comfortable seating throughout.  Other elements of the hotel include a fitness center, onsite guest laundry facilities, and a large, rooftop pool and sun deck.  Guests in need of transportation will find our complimentary shuttle to select locations as an easy way to get around town.  Enterprise Rent-A-Car is also located onsite at the hotel, where guests can easily pick up and drop off rental cars without the extra stop.  Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel including all guestrooms.  Microwaves and refrigerators can be found in guestrooms on our Executive Level.  Finally, nothing is more important than a good night’s sleep, and our crisp, high thread-count bedding and a variety of pillows will ensure a comfortable stay.
