Go Balance Ltd is a UK-based environmental and carbon credit project developer dedicated to protecting forests and biodiversity alongside delivering important community benefits through verified REDD+ initiatives.

The company implements large-scale nature-based conservation projects that generate high-integrity carbon credits under the Natural Forest Standard (NFS). These carbon credits are Natural Capital Credits (NCCs) and represent verified emissions reductions and measurable environmental and social benefits.

Go Balance’s flagship initiative, the Trocano Araretama Conservation Project, is located in the municipality of Borba, Amazonas, Brazil. Working in partnership with the municipal government and local communities, the project delivers multiple co-benefits including forest protection, community education, biodiversity conservation, and improved local livelihoods.  Recent initiatives include:

-     Stingless Bee Breeding

Go Balance combines advanced geospatial technology, risk-based carbon accounting, and community-centred implementation to ensure every credit represents genuine, measurable impact, integrating data from leading scientific sources including NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Brazil’s national satellite monitoring systems.

In 2025, Go Balance became the first REDD+ project developer to list its’ carbon credits as Digital Financial Assets (DFAs) on the Northern Trust Carbon Ecosystem (NTCE). This digital infrastructure ensures bank-grade security, traceability, and transparent lifecycle management of environmental assets.

Each Go Balance credit is verified by an independent third-party Validation and Verification Body (VVB) under the NFS, ensuring that all outcomes meet internationally recognised standards of integrity and performance.
