As the Chief Editor and Founder of GoMo News, Bena is a regular industry speaker. She was a judge at The Mobile World Congress, where she also moderated a panel on mobile social networking. The panel featured speakers from 3UK, Bebo, Facebook and Virgin Mobile USA.

Bena was a Judge at the Meffy Awards and also a Chairman for the first day of the MEM08 conference.

In 2008, Bena was also a judge for the MoMo Peer Awards in Barcelona.

In the past year, Bena has managed, presented and chaired at a number of events. She is a natural people connector and a strong point of contact for consultancy in the mobile space or insight on how to make strategic acquisitions or connections.

Roberts has nearly 15 years experience in the wireless industry. Previous to BKI, she held the position of Senior Analyst Wireless services at Current Analysis. There she tracked wireless voice and data services. She was also the usability and pricing expert for the team and masterminded the analysis of mobile portal services in Europe.

Prior to Current, Roberts served as a Market Analyst at Sony Digital Technology and Communications in Munich, Germany. She entered the mobile market in the early 1990�s when she held the position of International Marketing Manager at the Austrian private mobile phone operator max.mobil, now T-Mobile Austria.

Roberts is quoted frequently in the press and has been cited in publications such as Mobile Media, Mobile Entertainment, GSMA Daily, The FT, the Sunday Times, Red Herring and many more. She has been writing a regular feature on Wireless Business Review called Cutting Edge.

Roberts received her BA in Media and Communications at Surrey and her Masters in Business and Economics from the International University of Economics in Budapest, Hungary. She also holds a TEFL certificate.
