OUR HISTORY

In 2003, our founder, Kathleen Lin-Hurtubise, known to her friends and colleagues as “Kat,” combined her creativity, work ethic and talents to found Gourmet Cooking Hawaii.   Known for its exceptionally well-executed, hands-on culinary parties, the company expanded in 2004 to become Gourmet Events Hawaii [GEH].
With Kat’s passion as a driving force, GEH quickly made a name for itself through full-service catering, event planning and unique locations statewide. Innovative working partnerships with some of the state’s most renowned chefs bring incomparable cuisine choices to each event.

The GEH mission is to create memorable and successful events that exceed our client’s expectations, nurture relationships and delight the senses - one client, one event, one experience at a time.

With a focus on quality, GEH maintains the highest standards of customer service and excellence in the marketplace.
