About

Greenfleet is a recognised leader in forest-based carbon abatement. Greenfleet’s mission as a not-for-profit organisation is to create a low carbon future for Australia.  Greenfleet assists in removing carbon by restoring forests - offering organisations and individuals an affordable way to offset their carbon emissions by planting biodiverse Australian forests.

As a registered environmental charity, Greenfleet exists to make a difference, not a profit. Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted over 7.5 million native trees to restore biodiverse forests around Australia, like in Kinglake National Park in Victoria or Kosciuszko National Park in NSW. Greenfleet encourages organisations and individuals to AVOID and REDUCE greenhouse gas emissions and then OFFSET any remaining emissions by planting native forests.

Greenfleet’s species-rich forests take carbon from the atmosphere to tackle climate change, but they also do much more. Greenfleet plants a variety of native trees in permanent forests that help to reduce salinity and soil erosion, provide essential habitat for native wildlife, and provide much needed resilience in our precious landscape.
