The Gulfport Ecumenical Fellowship, since 2016, has facilitated shared mission and education among churches from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Gathered from across denominational, racial, and geographical lines, this group seeks to form meaningful relationships among clergypersons and interested laypeople. The fellowship meets quarterly for lunch and educational topics, such as violence prevention, support of local schools, disaster recovery, and more. It has hosted worship services in conjunction with local law enforcement personnel and drives to assist in natural disaster relief. The fellowship maintains no budget or bylaws, and is open to any Christian clergy or interested lay people on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
