Happy Cappy is a pediatrician-founded skincare brand created by Dr. Eduard (Eddie) Valenzuela, MD, FAAP, board-certified pediatrician, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and founder and CEO of Pediatric Solutions, LLC.
Dr. Eduard (Eddie) Valenzuela, MD, FAAP earned his Doctor of Medicine from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, and completed his pediatric residency and internship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Licensed by the Texas Medical Board, Dr. Valenzuela has actively practiced pediatrics in Houston, Texas since 2010. He has served as President of the Houston Pediatric Society and President of the Harris County Medical Society's Western Branch, and has received Top Doctor recognition from Houstonia Magazine and H-Texas Magazine consecutively from 2013 through 2019.
Dr. Valenzuela created the Happy Cappy product line to address the absence of a children's-specific over-the-counter medicated shampoo for dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. The Happy Cappy product line includes Happy Cappy Medicated Shampoo & Body Wash, an over-the-counter formula that controls the symptoms of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis; Happy Cappy Daily Shampoo & Body Wash, formulated for dry, sensitive, and eczema-prone skin; and Happy Cappy Moisturizing Cream for daily moisturization.
