Hasselberg Books is an independent publisher born in Madrid in 2024, founded by two mad book lovers.
In our workshop, we do not manufacture books: we sow questions, where reading is a way to play with the world, and playing is a way to understand it without solemnity. We are thrilled by what escapes the predictable: the fantastic disguised as real, the absurd that reveals a truth, the small thing that, suddenly, shines like something great.
We publish contemporary fiction with a unique voice and support national talent.
In Boboscho Series, we imagine and bring to life the books we always dreamed of finding in our childhood: those that do not provide easy answers, but instead invite you to look at the world with new eyes, to stumble upon unexpected findings, and to pause, in silence, in the face of wonder.
Because we sense a world where what is born from a question, a leap of imagination, or an instant of stillness in the face of beauty can disrupt the soul. A world in which books—those small mirrors made of paper—not only tell stories, but sow in the reader the possibility of a more attentive, softer, and more truly human life.
