Home and School Activity Book Series

The Home and School Science Activity Book series began in 1996 to promote literacy in physical science by using everyday events as a backdrop for activities using common materials and explained in everyday understandable language.

The first book was published by Pigeon Press. It was written by Bernie Horvath, a science teacher for over 30 years, and designed by graphic designer Kevin Horvath who has published work all around the world.

The experiments and activities in these books come from the many years of Bernie's teaching experience and covers topics that really resinated with his students.

Bernie has presented and talked and many local and national science conventions. The Home and School Science Activity Books are top sellers at science conventions across the United States. It is also a very popular workshop at science conferences.and conventions as well.
