West Palm Beach, FL – The Hott Shot Challenge basketball shooting tournament is making a stop in Lake Worth, FL. The Salvation Army Lake Worth Community Center will host the event on September 17, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Registration for the event is now open.

Proceeds from this Premier Tournament will go to support the many programs, The Salvation Army provides throughout Palm Beach County. The Salvation Army is known in 128 countries around the world as both a Christian Church and a Social Services Agency where help and hope can be found. About Hott Shot Basketball Challenge

Each participant will have 90 seconds to complete a round of shooting from the 6 marked areas on the court.   Each player will shoot 2 rounds. The highest scores from each age/gender group will advance to the championship round.

The best score from the 3 combined rounds will be declared the winner and walk away with bragging rights and the coveted Hott Shot Challenge trophy. All scores will be compared against the national competition and those scoring the highest will be entered into the Hott Shot Hall of Fame.
