About |
Hustle Con is a badass conference where the best non-technical founders (aka hustlers) teach how they got started and give practical advice on growing a startup. If you’ve heard of a hacker, well a hustler is its counterpart. Basically, it’s like a rock n’ roll version of TED, except not as hoity-toity. The catch? None of our speakers know how to code.
Our audience is made up of founders, business development reps, marketing professionals, designers, engineers, investors, recruiters, CEOs, and growth analysts. They're ambitious as hell, highly educated, and they crave intelligent, bullshit-free content.
Hustle Con also attracts members of the press from publications like TechCrunch, BuzzFeed, Business Insider, Inc, Forbes, Wired, and Fast Company.
Each speaker at Hustle Con is a founder. While we encourage Vice Presidents and other executives to attend, we are adamant that only founders give presentations. This gives each talk authenticity so that our audience is getting practical, tactical advice about starting and growing a company from people who have proven their success.
The third annual Hustle Con will take place on May 16, 2016 in Oakland, CA. Tickets will go on sale in January.
Hustle Con is owned by Hustle Con Media, Inc. The event is funded by profits from Hustle Con 2015 and investments from angel investors. The founders also own and operate a weekly email newsletter called The Hustle, which is unique, long-form content geared towards entrepreneurs and millennials.
