Image Angel was created in response to the prevalence of non-consensual intimate image abuse committed online. Their technology provides a deterrent to perpetrators by embedding invisible watermarks into images, allowing victims to trace the non-consensual sharing of their intimate image back to the perpetrator. User-to-user platforms can integrate Image Angel’s technology to protect their users - technology which has been recommended as best practice by the UK Department for Science, Innovation & Technology.
