Indiahandmade is an official e-commerce portal from the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, developed by Digital India Corporation, to showcase and sell authentic handloom and handicraft items made by artisans & weavers of India. India is the land of rich cultural & artistic history with some of the world’s oldest and rarest crafts that need to be preserved and nurtured. Started by the govt. in 2023, Indiahandmade aims to provide a free-of-cost platform for Weavers and Artisans to sell their handcrafted items online in India without the involvement of a mediator in between, paving the way for their financial and social empowerment.
