Founded in 1920, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is an international organization with local undergraduate and graduate chapters throughout the world.  The Iota Zeta Chapter was founded in Indianapolis in 1931. The organization’s national and local programs include the endowment of its National Educational Foundation, community outreach services and support of multiple affiliate organizations. Members of local Zeta chapters across the world, including the adult and youth auxiliary groups, consistently donate an un-totaled number hours of voluntary service to educate the public, assist youth, provide scholarships, support organized charities and promote legislation for social and civic change. The organization’s founding principles are Scholarship, Service, and Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood.
