Brief Company History
ISECA was launched in the Algarve in mid 2011, and has already provided crime prevention solutions to householders and risk assessments to conferences both in the Algarve and Lisbon.
Brief Personal Background
David Thomas is a resident of Portugal and has some 37 years experience both in international and national policing and security work. Following his retirement as an Assistant Commissioner of Police he has demonstrated success as a security, crime prevention and policing consultant. His clients have included the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and INTERPOL. Much of his work has been of a highly confidential nature where integrity, trust and the confidentiality required by clients are paramount

During the last 3 years he has provided security advice to civil government and police in the Algarve as well as various community groups and individual householders. This has included a proposed comprehensive Police/Community Engagement Strategy and Collaboration between the Private Security Alarm Industry and Police in response to Emergencies, submitted to the civil authorities and police.
