Using the inmate locator database is extremely easy and absolutely free. Users can conduct inmate searches by state and federal prisons, or by county jail. Listings include an array of information about inmates, prison facilities and prison visitation, as well as prison inmate handbooks. JailGuide has also incorporated a prison sentence calculator that can be used to determine how much good time credit a particular prisoner has for time served.
