JanusHermes is a cross-border real estate platform built to simplify one of the most fragmented experiences in personal finance: buying property in another country.
Today, evaluating an overseas property purchase usually means jumping between disconnected sources. Listings live on one website, cost-of-living figures on another, and crucial local context is often scattered or buried in unfamiliar languages. Buyers are frequently asked to commit to one of the largest purchases of their lives without a clear picture of either the financial context or the location itself. JanusHermes was created to bring these pieces together.
The platform covers more than 50 countries and is available in 11 languages, layering practical intelligence onto every listing so investors can decide not just what to buy, but where.
Cost-of-living data is integrated alongside each property, helping buyers understand what daily life in a particular city or region truly costs before they commit.
Photorealistic 3D maps allow users to explore not only a property but the streets and surroundings around it, offering a genuine sense of place that static images cannot provide.
Together, these tools serve a growing international audience of investors and second-home buyers who are increasingly comfortable looking beyond their home countries for property opportunities. By consolidating listings and location intelligence into a single multilingual experience, JanusHermes replaces a process that once required a dozen browser tabs with one coherent view across more than 50 markets.
Launched in 2026, the platform reached more than 17,000 listings within two months of going live and continues to onboard new real estate agencies each week. JanusHermes is built and operated by a solo founder, a Mechanical Engineering student at Bogazici University, covering product, engineering, growth, and operations.
