Jericho Partnership, a Christian nonprofit serving Greater Danbury, has been selected as a participant in Fairfield County Bank's Charity of the Month program. Community members are encouraged to vote once each day throughout the month to help Jericho earn funding that will directly support local students and families.
For more than 30 years, Jericho Partnership has helped children overcome challenges such as poverty, food insecurity, language barriers, and academic struggles through long-term, relationship-based support. Students receive tutoring, homework assistance, mentoring, nutritious meals, and opportunities to explore college and career pathways in a safe, encouraging environment. Families also receive assistance through Jericho's weekly food pantry and other essential resources.
The impact of Jericho's programs can be seen in students like Gabby, who entered the after-school program reading three grade levels behind. Today, she is entering middle school reading at grade level and confidently embraces the challenges ahead, knowing Jericho will continue to support her learning and growth.
Jericho's mentoring program has achieved a remarkable 98% high school graduation rate, demonstrating the power of caring adult relationships, academic support, and consistent encouragement.
Voting is free, takes less than a minute, and can be done once each day throughout the month. Supporters can vote online by visiting https://www.fairfieldcountybank.com/general-information/charity-of-the-month.html and selecting Jericho Partnership.
Every vote helps provide hope, opportunity, and a brighter future for children and families throughout the Greater Danbury community.
