About |
Jewish Lives is a major new series of brief, interpretive biography offering an indispensable guide to the Jewish past. Together these lives -- ancient and modern, secular and religious -- will constitute a singularly intimate look at the complexity of the Jewish experience. Examined are the lives of those long-considered emblematic in Jewish culture, as well as less obvious figures whose Jewish identity intersects with their legacy in interesting ways.
Jewish Lives is a collaboration of the Leon D. Black Foundation and Yale University Press
