About

Maryland criminal lawyer Andrew V. Jezic  is  the lead partner of Jezic, Krum & Moyse LLC,  and heads our criminal  defense department. He was selected to the exclusive list of best Maryland criminal lawyers by Washingtonian magazine in 2011 and 2013 . Mr Jezic maintains a perfect 10/10 rating on AVVO and has been selected by Super Lawyers from 2011-2015 as one of top 5% of criminal attorneys in Maryland. He is also  a co-author of the widely respected book, Maryland Law of Confessions, first published in 2003 by Thompson/West and now in its tenth edition.

As a Maryland criminal lawyer, Mr. Jezic has an extraordinary record of achieving outstanding results in criminal jury trials. Regarding his jury trials which are not presently on appeal, Mr. Jezic has achieved a winning result in 39 out of 44 jury trials as a Maryland Criminal defense lawyer: a Not Guilty verdict, a dismissal in the middle of trial, a mistrial, a Motion for New Trial, a hung jury, a windfall compromise in the middle of trial, or a reversal on appeal. With the few jury trials that did not end successfully, Mr. Jezic fought to the bitter end, filing pro bono appeals in the State’s highest courts and in the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Jezic continues to look for ways to get a new trial for these clients.

In 2014 Mr. Jezic was a featured speaker for the fourth year in a row at the Alan Goldstein criminal law lecture in Prince George’s County, the premier criminal law seminar for lawyers in Maryland. In 2010 Mr. Jezic was a featured speaker at the annual Law Day seminar in Montgomery County, and was asked to speak at a Cross-Examination Workshop for the Montgomery County Bar’s Criminal Law Section in October, 2008, as well as at the Office of the Public Defender’s state-wide Training Seminar in May, 2008.
