Jupiter Chevrolet,  Dallas County's oldest family owned Chevrolet Dealership.  This Chevrolet dealership is located in Garland and first opened its doors in September of 1925 by founder and owner Ben C. Jackson, the current owner's Grandfather.  The business was then known as Jackson-Olinger Chevrolet and was located just off the square in downtown Garland.  In 1937, Ben C. Jackson bought out Mr. Olinger and we then became known as Jackson Chevrolet.
   
In 1950, Elmer Newman (Mrs. Matetich's father) joined Mr. Jackson in the family business.  In 1956, the company moved to a new location on Garland Road to a 40,000 square feet facility.  In February of 1977, Mike Matetich Sr. came on board and another relocation occurred.  We moved to our present building in stages.  We opened the new car and pre-owned car sales departments first in what is now the pre-owned building, while the main building was being built.  Our new Chevrolet Dealership was finally ready for us to occupy in October 1997.

Through the years, other family members joined the team.  Mike Matetich Jr. came on board in June of 1994 and is now our General Manager.  Ashley Bradford, (Mike Matetich SR.'s daughter) joined the family business in February of 1999 as our Public Relations Manager.  Last but not least, Billy Bradford, (Mr. Matetich's son-in-law) is our Pre-Owned Director.
