About

Located west of Aurora Ontario, our 60 acre site offers a northern feeling without the 3 hour drive. Each camper is placed in a group supervised directly by counsellors, and skilled activity staff facilitate each program area.

We offer Day Camp bus transportation from your door in many areas including Richmond Hill, Maple, Woodbridge, Newmarket and Aurora. Central pick-up points throughout Markham, Mississauga and Toronto are available.

Our Residential program offers Campers a wilderness setting close to home with weekly sessions available. Our explorer’s program offers 12 and 13-year-olds a 7 day canoe tripping program with 4 nights in beautiful Algonquin Park.

We also offer a one-on-one integrated program for children with special needs.

Activities include swimming, canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, nature, climbing wall, ropes course and more. Campers receive daily Red Cross swimming lessons, and have the opportunity to earn ORCA canoe badges too.

From September until June, Kettleby Valley operates as an Outdoor Education Centre for schools. Overnight programs run Monday to Wednesday and Wednesday to Friday. We also offer day program that begin as early as 9 am and finish as late as 4:00 pm. With our Leadership Program, the activities we use are the medium we use to challenge a group of individuals to work together and gain the experience and skills necessary in a group setting. The experience begins with cooperative games and progresses throughout the day to a peak experience such as climbing wall, ropes course or Inuit blanket toss. The activities change based upon the goals of the group as well as each groups’ qualities and characteristics.

A superb location, a wide variety of activities and a 1 to 4 staff to camper ratio all add to a great camp experience.
