About |
Kid's Portal is an independently built, bootstrapped educational app designed to give children ages 5 to 10 a safe place to explore and learn online.
The app was created after its founder recognized a growing problem in children's digital products. Many apps marketed to families are supported by advertising, algorithm-driven systems, and data collection that targets young users. No single solution existed that combined safety, engagement, and a complete content ecosystem in one place. So Kid's Portal was built from the ground up.
Kid's Portal takes a different approach. The platform was designed without advertising, third-party tracking, or algorithm-driven content recommendations. Instead, it provides a human-curated library of more than 1,000 activities across four content formats: educational videos, interactive games, interactive storybooks, and printable activities for offline learning.
Content is organized around topics children are naturally curious about, including science, history, geography, nature, and reading. Everything is curated for ages 5 to 10 with no pathways outside the platform and no external links.
Kid's Portal was built around six non-negotiable principles: no advertising of any kind, no third-party tracking or data collection, full COPPA compliance, no external links, no algorithm-driven recommendations, and a transparent subscription model with no hidden costs.
Kid's Portal is available through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and on the web at app.kidsportal.co, giving families access on any device. Subscriptions are available for $8.99 per month or $89.99 per year. A 3-day free trial is available for new users.
