KM Ware is the direct result of the transformation and corporate evolution of the former Kvazar-Micro company, which distinguished itself as one of the premier information technology leaders in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which consists of Russia and several of the former Soviet republics.
The original Kvazar-Micro was founded by Mr. Evgeni Utkin, who is recognized as Ukraine's most successful entrepreneur. Mr. Utkin built Kvazar-Micro to a level of over $800 million in revenue and over 1,000 employees. Sitronics acquired a majority stake in Kvazar-Micro, but Mr. Utkin remained as its President and CEO, taking the company through a highly successful IPO on the London Stock Exchange with a valuation of $2.3 billion.
In 2004, Mr. Utkin enjoyed a lucrative exit from the original Kvazar-Micro/Sitronics, and has since acquired several of the Kvazar-Micro business units that he originally founded along with its brand name, inclusive of several of his original key staff members, and has subsequently created the new KM Core, Ltd. company - a contemporary Second Generation vision of Information Technology in the 21st century.
KM Core, Ltd. has established its American business entity in North America, branded in 2010 as KM Core USA, Inc., which is based in San Jose, California.
