The Konold Institute was approved by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education in November of 2011. Although the school is new, the founder has had been working in the education field for 20 years. Dr. Kyle Konold received his Ph.D. from the College of Education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He has worked as an instructor, campus director, regional director, director of operations and vice president of academic affairs within the postsecondary proprietary education field. Throughout his career, he has seen examples of outstanding education practices and examples of practices on the opposite end of the spectrum. Dr. Konold has used those experiences to create a "student first" atmosphere within the school. The utmost goal of the school is create a high-quality education program which fits the needs of the each student. Dr. Konold and his instructors will be actively engaged in each student's learning to keep the student progressing through the curriculum to fruition.
The online curriculum provided by Cyanna Education Services is a time-tested, effective, outcomes-based curriculum used by numerous career schools and community colleges across the nation. Students are expected to be engaged in learning activities for 20 hours per week. However, since the curriculum is available to students 24/7, it meets the needs of the busy adult learner.
The Konold Institute will assist each student with resume writing, job search procedures and job interview preparations to assist them in finding a job and getting hired into that position. We also assist the students in strengthening their soft skills to help students keep their jobs.
