About |
Kurtz Communications, LLC is owned and operated by Eddie Kurtz, Writer and Producer, and a native of New Orleans, where he still lives. The company was started approximately seven years ago. It's primary focus at this time is the writing of Mr. Kurtz, the author of six fiction novels, and numerous articles. Previously, under Kurtz Productions, Inc, Mr. Kurtz was involved as a writer and/or producer in the production of many television and video programs, including documentaries, music programs, as well as host appearances and comedic vignettes on local television.
Mr. Kurtz has a BA in English from Notre Dame, and an MA in Broadcasting and Film from San Francisco State University.
His novels include: Sex & Gravity, August in New Orleans, My Casanova, 1968, Devil's Food, and Singing for Supper. He continues writing and has several books and projects presently in the works. The range of topics he writes about is wide and curious. He doesn't write standard genre books, and probably wouldn't know how. He is claiming, however, to be launching a new literary genre of sorts, which he is dubbing the "Mystery Farce." Stay tuned.
