Lawrence was reared in a single parent home for a number of years and writes about the effects of being fatherless. This experience along with working as and high school assistant principal has provided him with years of research based information. Lawrence has worked in the class room as a teacher as a school conselor and principal on elementary, middle high school and college level. These experinces has lead him to seek every method in trying to promote family unity.
