Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a way of administering 100% oxygen in a pressurized chamber at above atmospheric pressure. By doing so, the body absorbs 10-15 times more oxygen than if delivered at sea level, promoting the body's natural healing mechanisms. HBOT has become a standard form of treatment for a variety of conditions. Currently there are 13 approved conditions by the Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), including decompression illness, carbon monoxide poisoning and chronic non-healing wounds.  Perry Baromedical has been active in assisting Doctors, Hospitals and Wound Programs obtain better clinical outcomes and improved quality of life for their patients.
