Who are KIKI?
KIKI (輝&輝) - Established in 2008 by Hikari Shirafuji and Kanami Takeda, an authentic Tsugaru Shamisen duo. Both have won national competitions and are a popular female Tsugaru Shamisen unit globally. KIKI specializes in incorporating various music genres into traditional Tsugaru Shamisen folk songs, and original compositions showcasing the Shamisen’s unique techniques.

Winner of the Tsugaru Shamisen National Competition - Japan's Championship Division (2019) etc.
Kanami Takeda (武田佳泉):
Winner of the Tsugaru Shamisen National Competition - Women's Division (2007) etc.
