About

Lefko Literation seeks to fill the gap left by many cut art programs, to provide a high-quality experience on a low budget, to replicate the thrills of the writing industry... without the rejection. The program is open to all students, grades 7 - 12, who are prepared to work hard and develop their craft. Classes are capped at 15 students to maintain a personal environment.

Intro workshops will focus on mastering the basics – for fiction: plot, character development, and narrative voice; for screenwriting: structure, dialogue, and proper format. Students are expected to come to class prepared to engage in open discussions and to learn new theories and approaches to writing.

The instructor, Alexandria Lefkovits, holds a Bachelor's degree in Literature from Yale and has extensive experience working with children of all ages. She speaks fluent French, not-so-fluent Mandarin, and struggles with German, Spanish, and Italian.
