Lello Dug Publishing was created by Alan Dapré to promote his professional writing. In time, it will foster the work of other writers.

Founder Alan Dapré has written for television, radio and the stage. He has published over 50 books with traditional publishers such as Ladybird, Heinemann, Hodder, Egmont and Piccadilly Press. Lello Dug Publishing seeks to showcase Alan's work in digital publishing, specifically ebooks.

An accomplished illustrator, Alan Dapré is known for his line art illustrations in Mammoth's 'Everything You Need To Know When You Are 7 (8 & 9)' series. He now illustrates and publishes colourful, humorous picture books for preschool age children.

Lello Dug Publishing derives its name from the family dog, a loveable yellow retriever that was re-homed after being left unwanted in kennels. Her vibrant, try anything 'who dares' personality epitomises Lello Dug Publishing's creative spirit.

Children deserve quality literature that makes them laugh and think, and this is precisely what Lello Dug and Alan Dapré aim to achieve.
