Let's be Heard

“Lets be Heard” is a volunteer led initiative to give talented entertainers a platform on which to perform, while also raising considerable funds for charity and raising the public awareness of the charity.

The name “Lets be Heard” was chosen for two reasons …

Entertainers generally want to perform (and be heard !!!)
All Charities have an important message that they also want to be heard

“Lets be Heard” organises, hosts and promotes a series of shows / concerts, predominantly light musical entertainment, interlaced with dance and stories presented by well known celebrities.

Venues and locations will be announced as they are developed and it is proposed that “Lets be Heard” events will be held throughout Scotland and the wider UK, culminating with large scale grand concerts when all the performers will be brought together on one huge stage.

Let's be Heard are now setting out on our search for a variety of volunteers ( not only for the current shows but also future shows) who share our passion for “putting on a show”, knowing that their efforts will be made all the better by the sense of satisfaction in giving generous support to such a worthy cause

All help will be gratefully received (whether or not you have experience in the business of entertainment.)   It may be that you would just like to join in and have fun, or indeed you may know of someone who may be able to bring forward their talent and enthusiasm to assist us.

We would hope that time involvement for each event will not be all encompassing or indeed too onerous, and more importantly, those volunteering will still be able to undertake their other musical / entertainment undertakings at the same time.

Let's be Heard was devised and founded by Stuart Rennie.    Stuart has a longstanding connection / sympathy with MDC and other charities, and has over some 20 years, organised and overseen numerous successful fundraising activities.  

Stuart was the founder member and principal organiser of The Fife Ball, which over a 3 year period, raised circa £125,000 (net) for MDC in Scotland.
