Women are at the front line in the healthcare sector.

Women have been working in an important role in healthcare sectors like as healers, midwives, herbalists, physician and even more since the beginning of time. Many years ago, women like Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale and Elizabeth Garrett did a lot for the advancement of the healthcare industry.

Females from the coming generations readying to become pharmacists, nurses and doctors should consider these as their role models in the healthcare industry before starting their own career.

A professional Pharmacist known as Dr Sindu that manages the department at Life Pharmacy, talks about the interaction with women eager to work at Life Pharmacy. “I am surprised by the enthusiasm brought by these ladies and their passion and desire to work hard and do something honorable. With this determined fresh talent working and joining each day, I feel positive to say that the future of the health sector is in good hands.”

Women working in health sectors are content with their work as compared to the males working there.
Women’s work and tireless efforts were recognized in the year 2020 for their help in the health sector and their work in crushing the COVID-19 pandemic. While taking care of their families, women are also working side by side against this highly infectious disease in hospitals and other health centers.

Sometimes, when women have young kids, they have to shift their full-time work to part-time work just for the sake of family and children.
