Award-winning and industry -recognized Marketing Executive, Liliana Gil is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Acento Group (AG), member of the XL Alliance, a unique Cultural Marketing firm and agency with a management of 100% “former corporate clients now serving clients”. XL’s strategic services are divided in two primary divisions: The Cultural Intelligence™ Institute -- empowering C-level executives to understand and tap into the multicultural market-- and Cultural Marketing & Advertising Services –providing brand marketing and communication services.  Gil and her team are commonly approached by business leaders to be personally coached and gain insights on how to prepare their organizations to better reach the fastest growing market segment in the U.S: the Hispanic & Multicultural consumer. Some of these organizations she has impacted include : Johnson & Johnson, Diageo, Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Bayer, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of FL, Wellpoint, Kroger, AVON, The Latin GRAMMY®, MISSION Skincare, Serena Williams, among others.

Featured as one of the country’s most accomplished business women 2009-2010 by the National Association of Professional Women, winner of the Business Woman of the Year Award in 2008 by the National Latin Pride Awards, selected by PODER Magazine as one of the Top 20 Leaders under 40 in the U.S, recipient of LULAC’s Latina Leadership Award- among others, Gil’s contributions to business, society and the community make her a very inspirational and influential professional.  She is also a recognized speaker, writer, TV host and known supporter of Hispanic business and diversity.  A board member of the Global Diversity & Inclusion board, her thought leadership is sought after by various Fortune 500 companies and publication including; the Harvard Business Review, Association of National Advertisers (ANA), AdvertisingAge, USA Today, HispanicAd, Produ, Revista PODER, among others. In addition, her media appearances include outlets like Telemundo, Telemicro,  Television Dominicana, GOTV, EnrolaTV, among others.

Lili is also the host of YouTube’s 1st and only Cultural Intelligence™ channel: Moments to CultuRise where she empowers executives and marketing professionals with up-to-date news and insights to boost their business in today’s culturally diverse America. As Gil would describe it, the channel fulfills her mission to latinize corporate America by delivering objective business news through a fact-driven Latino business-filter. Her profile and channel has been featured by the New York Daily News as an innovative use of social media to impact business.

Prior to her entrepreneurial accomplishments, her solid corporate leadership was demonstrated as Worldwide Director of Marketing Services for Johnson & Johnson where she managed global Agency relations and sourcing and also pioneered the creation of the corporation’s Hispanic and Multicultural Marketing initiative. Some of the brands she personally impacted include: Tylenol, Aveeno, Splenda, Topomax, Levaquin, among others. Her legacy at J&J still lives having been the co-founder of HOLA (Hispanic Organization for Leadership & Achievement) an employee resource group that today has over 1,500 members in over 5 countries.

Originally from Colombia, Gil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Southwestern Adventist University. She has also completed foreign Commerce studies at Deakin University in Melbourne Australia, post-graduate studies at Rollins College (Crummer Graduate School of Business) and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado. She also volunteers for a number of organizations, and recently was named as co-chair for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Latino committee for “Gala por la Vida” (Gala for Life). Gil resides in New York where she lives with her husband Chris Valletta who is a former NFL player, entrepreneur and media personality.
