Local Future is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public on topics of sustainability. Local Future is hosting "The International Conference on Peak Oil and Climate Change: Paths to Sustainability". Local Future groups are forming to bring together sustainably minded citizens to help move their communities on paths to sustainability. Local Future is founded by educator Aaron Wissner who was featured in the Wall Street Journal in January for his peak oil education efforts.
