mBOLDen Change (formerly My New Red Shoes) is a San Francisco Bay Area based nonprofit focused on economic security, community safety nets, and equity. Our mission is to champion, design, and incubate bold, community-driven solutions that dismantle barriers and close equity gaps—so everyone has the resources and power to thrive.  

We work across three interconnected strategies: meeting urgent needs alongside communities, partnering with values-aligned organizations to sharpen strategy and bring community-led ideas to life, and advancing efforts that shift policies and narratives toward systems rooted in equity and justice.
