Paul Madden began his film career in England where he graduated from
the National Film and Television School of England, after receiving his MBA
from Boston University’s School of Management. He began working as a script reader for Twentieth Century Fox, and has since served in various capacities as writer, director and/or producer on a number of modest-budgeted films. He wrote the first draft of Paramount's Show of Force which
starred Kevin Spacey, Andy Garcia, Robert Duvall and Amy Irving. His directing credits include SUMMER JOB, a teen comedy for Columbia Tri-Star that received a world-wide theatrical release. He wrote and directed MEDIUM RARE – a black comedy set in Los Angeles which stars Burt Young, Lainie Kazan, Brad Dourif, Dr. Timothy Leary. His films have played on HBO, SHOWTIME, the Movie Channel and USA Network. He has been contracted as screenwriter for Warner Brothers, New Line Cinema, Paramount and Republic Pictures, is a member of the WGA and has been a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
