As a Board Certified Oral Surgeon, Dr. Paul R. Calat manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial region. Dr. Calat has six years of advanced specialty training and multiple areas of expertise ranging from dental implants and bone grafting to wisdom tooth removal. He can also diagnose and treat oral pathology, facial injuries, TMJ disorders and performs a full range of procedures such as Teeth-in-an-Hour®, All-on-4® and Waterlase® laser treatments. Our patients have the option of having procedures comfortably performed while they sleep. We have two offices to serve you. Our Manhattan office is conveniently located at 12 E. 41st Street, Suite 1102, New York, NY, and our Hoboken, New Jersey office is located at 70 Hudson St., 7th Fl, Hoboken, NJ.

Dr. Paul R. Calat is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who completed his dental training in 1996 at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. For the next six years he focused on advanced specialty training in the field of Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology at Columbia University/Harlem Hospital Center. He has earned the distinction of being named a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Calat is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the New York Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Calat is a faculty member of Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he is involved in educating future Oral Surgeons.

Dr. Calat is a New York native who enjoys travel and spending time with his boxer, Brook-lyn. Dr. Calat, is a supporter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for which he has completed multiple triathalons.
