Mantis Sauces and Seasonings was born from two things that have always defined our family: a love of great food and a fight that hits close to home.

In 2019, our co-founder Spencer underwent a kidney transplant in his 20s. It was a wake-up call, not just for Spencer, but for all of us. Over 100,000 Americans are on the kidney transplant waiting list right now, and for the millions more living with kidney failure, dialysis becomes a way of life. Expensive, exhausting, and endless.

We wanted to do something about it. So we did what we've always done best, we got in the kitchen. We started with our innovative and NBBQA and International Flavor award winning line of bbq sauces, hot sauces and seasonings.

And now we are adding something people love: hot fudge. Perfectly balanced, silky smooth, dangerously good hot fudge. Because we believe the best way to make an impact is to make something worth sharing. Every jar of Molten Love sold sends 10% directly to The Kidney Project at UCSF, a national research collaboration working to build the world's first surgically implantable artificial kidney, a device that could end dialysis forever and give millions of people their lives back.

We're a small team with a big mission. We believe the best food brings people together, and the best brands make the world a little better. At Mantis Sauces and Seasonings, we're doing both, one jar at a time.
